Grey supposedly doesn't allow external extra mural coaches on school grounds anymore or allow extra mural coaches to rent venues. First of all, this is a lie! Only those they feel threatened by, they don't allow or get rid of and they change the rules as they so please and as they so choose: what is in today, is out tomorrow and vice versa--the rule counts today and not tomorrow!
Grey's personnel and board cannot see when an initiative is in the interest of the school, more importantly in the interest of the learners. Grey personnel is not even prepared to tolerate a little discomfort if they notice an initiative is in the interest of the boys and beneficial to the school. Everything is about the least effort to them.
Due to the least effort, Deon Scheepers, allowed a part, a huge part of the swimming-pool to be rented by an external party (private coach). Why he did this, only he knows; probably rent, forget and collect--no worries! The school doesn't need the money due to the gigantic income the Telkom-building ensures, so maybe there is some other reason.
The water-polo area of the pool became smaller and smaller as the outsiders partitioned it off until it had become so small it was impossible to utilize for water-polo practice in the afternoons, let alone play a game. This resulted in Jacques Richter, a Springbok and superb coach to open himself to outside offers, since none of his complaints were taken seriously. He has thus taken another offer at another school and resigned at Grey. He told many parents at Grey he couldn't take it anymore, thus is leaving due to this. Grey has lost a jewel and doesn't even know or care!
Water-polo will from now on be just another activity at Grey and not a topnotch sport! Nice going Scheepie! This is now a headmaster for you! Headmasters are supposed to act in the interest of the school, but more importantly in the interest of the learners, our boys, and not work against the school or its image! Maybe the private person was allowed yet again: "baadjie vir 'n maatjie" or payment under the table!
My hart is baie seer dat Jacques weg is. Hy was regtig fantasties met die waterpolo afrigting.

DeleteSkrywer van die post...leer asb eers spel voordat jy wil kommentaar lewer. Jou stellings word hoogs bevraagteken aangesien jy nie van korrekte spelling gebruik maak nie. So ook word jou stellings bevraagteken aangesien jou sogenaamde feite ongegrond is en dat dit onwaar is. Jacques Richer was dalk goed, maar in die afgelope jaar vandat Mnr Nico Venter die hoof van waterpolo is, het die seuns se wen ratio verbeter, en dit vandag Mnr Richter weg is. Dit beteken nie Mnr Richter was nie goed nie, maar wel dat hy nie noodwendig die "juweel" is soos wat jy na hom verwys nie. Dit blyk ook dat jy meer inligting het oor wat binne Grey Kollege se mure aangaan as die skool self...miskien moet jy meer uitwei oor die presiese persentasie wat die Telkom-gebou in vir Grey Kollege, aangesien jy 'obviously' die syfers onder oog gehad het. Jou feite moet asb gestaaf word deur relevante dokumentasie of opnames, soos in 'n hof sal vereis word, want hoorse is so goed soos leuens. Ek dink jou klagte is totaal belaglik en dit spreek boekdele van jou as skrywer van die post en wie jy is...ai, dit moet seker sleg wees om jy te wees...!

So, Blogger, die crappy skool waarvan jy so baie van jou tyd afstaan, se suspisies oor wie jy/JULLE is, is reg. No where mense, war nêrend is in die lewe nie!
